Consultation and 3D Smile Scan
Your OrthoFX™ journey begins with a comprehensive consultation with our doctor. We'll assess your teeth, discuss your smile goals, and take a detailed 3D digital scan of your mouth. You'll be able to preview your results before committing to treatment.
Custom Aligner Fabrication
Your scan data is used to design a precise series of custom aligners, each one calibrated to move your teeth a small, controlled amount. Your full aligner series is fabricated and shipped directly to our Frisco office.
Wearing Your Aligners
You'll wear each set of aligners for approximately one to two weeks before moving to the next in the series. Aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours per day for best results. Remove them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
Progress Check-Ins
Throughout your treatment, you'll have periodic check-ins with our doctor to ensure your teeth are tracking correctly and your treatment is progressing on schedule. The OrthoFX™ patient app also lets you monitor your own progress between visits.
Retention
Once your final aligner is complete, we'll fit you with a retainer to keep your teeth in their new positions. This step is essential for maintaining your results long-term.
